The NFL in partnership with Pro Football Hall of Fame offensive tackle, Anthony Muñoz, will host several NFL PLAY 60 Character Camps this summer across the country and thanks to the Jacksonville Jaguars one of the camps will be in here Jacksonville Fl. The program is part of the NFL’s year-round Hispanic outreach initiative, which offers youth opportunities to play and experience the game of football.
They need our help reaching between 250-300 predominantly Hispanic children 7 to 14 years of age to participate in the camp on Monday July 24th, 2017 at Englewood High School. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
The camps’ mission is to make a positive impact on youth through teaching football skills, emphasizing exercise and reinforcing the importance of character in sports and life. These grassroots efforts have made a strong impact in these communities and are creating momentum for a broader movement.
Participants will learn the character values that are at the core of the Anthony Muñoz Foundation and learn more about NFL PLAY 60 — the league’s youth health and fitness campaign, aimed at getting kids active for 60 minutes a day.
