Dr. Rene U. Pulido, a graduate from Jacksonville Mayo Clinic Family Residency Program, opened EMED Primary Care and Walk In Clinic in August of 2010. Dr. Pulido’s family has lived in Jacksonville, Fl since the late 1950’s when his father located to the United States from Cuba. Dr. Pulido attended Assumption grade school and played football for Bishop Kenny H.S. Following the footsteps of his uncle Jesus Pulido, MD, and Alex Pulido, MD, Dr. Pulido and his two brothers, Mario and Danny, attended UACA Costa Rica for Medical School. Dr. Rene Pulido graduated in 2000. He later completed a family medicine program at Jacksonville’s Mayo Clinic where he learned the values of a team work approach to patient care using the latest advancements in technology such as electronic medical records.
After finishing the program with Mayo he worked in Jacksonville with Solantic Baptist Urgent Care honing his urgent care skills. Dr. Pulido’s educational and practical experiences have led to the development of Emed Primary Care and Walk In Clinic. It is the vision of Dr. Pulido to practice Primary Care in an efficient and affordable manner, brining his talents back to the community which has given him so much. Emed Primary Care and Walk In Clinic will accept all major insurance payers and provide self pay pricing.
Dr. Pulido affiliation with Hospital Corporation of America’s family of physicians, will allow eMed provide complete and integrated health care to all of its patients.
